At Spokane Youth for Christ Spokane (SYFC), we are dedicated to transforming the lives of Spokane’s urban youth by providing hope, support, and opportunity. Every day, we engage with over 40 at-risk students through impactful after-school programs that foster personal growth, resilience, and a sense of belonging.

Our work is rooted in Spokane’s most underserved neighborhoods (zip codes 99201, 99202, 99207), where systemic challenges and socioeconomic hardships create significant barriers for young people. Many of the students we serve come from unstable homes, often lacking the presence of both parents and the guidance of positive adult role models. These challenges leave them vulnerable to risky behaviors like substance abuse, school dropout, and other obstacles to success.

YFC’s mission is clear: to break the cycle of poverty and empower Spokane’s youth to thrive, based on the foundational truth that God cares and loves Spokane youth. We provide a safe, welcoming environment where students can build healthy relationships, discover their strengths, and access the resources they need to create a brighter future.

Through our dynamic programs and caring mentorship, we strive to inspire hope, nurture potential, and spark lasting change. Together with our community partners, volunteers, and supporters, we are making a difference—one life at a time.
